how long did it take? i've been to a few places to enquire ~ hehe.. but.. yeah... me + mate haven't got ours done yet.. *sigh*... finding designs took ages.. and then... asking the tattooists about them.. and they were like.. FDUSIOFIDSOP... sometimes.. *sighhh*... cos i want a dragon on my foot//ankle.. but yeh... they talked about lines being too close together etc.. mmm... sucks that i can't draw
it took 5 hours to do, yeah my arm was under the needle for 5 whole hours. it was painful, the tattoo dude wanted to do the design in 2 session but it would've costed me a bucket. so i thought just do it, i'll endure it and 200 is for the price for the design i made on my arm.
the tattoo parlors here charge by the hour!!! i think the first 3 days were painful my arm was red and swollen and it really stung every time i used force on it, but its all good and healed!!!
i'm pretty sure that tattoo guy was king of unproffessional, i think you should check some other guys around your area. most of them would be happy to take your original idea and re vamp it out for you depending on the input you give them hun. don't give up on the sketch you have!!!

Yeah. I'm not much of a designer/or a sketcher for that matter. hah. wish i could draw what was in my mind.
